Our replicated DVDs are second to none. DVD Replication (often called 'pressing'
or 'moulding') is the original and traditional method of
manufacturing DVDs. Raw materials enter a large DVD moulding machine
and the basic DVD is created first. The data or audio information
is physically stamped onto the DVD during this process. The label
is then printed directly onto the DVD and the DVD is finished off
with protective layers, etc.
This method of
manufacturing DVDs requires that a minimum of 500 units be pressed. Because of the amount of time and materials involved in setting up
each replication run, it is not cost efficient to produce less. (We provide a
DVD duplication service for 1 to 500 DVDs.
See
DVD Duplication.)
It generally takes around 8-10 business
days to create a finished product from your DVD master. This
includes pressing the DVDs, printing on the DVD, printing of the
insert materials and packaging.
